The Webster Shakespeare Festival offers summer internships in Technical Theatre Design and Production. Whether you plan on going to college for technical theater, or just have an enthusiastic interest, this is a great opportunity!

Students will have a chance to work this summer in a professional and creative environment with some of the area’s top production technicians and designers.

Areas of focus will be:

A)    Scene Design, Set Construction, Props & Crafts, Scene Painting, & Running Crew.

B)      Sound & Lighting Design & Production

The show runs mid to end of July. Design & planning will wrap up mid May. Construction will go through July. The third phase involving the actual production begins with Tech weekend starting on TBD, and wraps up the weekend after the show. Scheduling & commitment levels are very flexible prior Tech weekend

If you know of students who are serious about pursuing theatre after high school, (or are one! ) this is a fabulous opportunity to get valuable experience right in our own community. And you'll have loads of fun too!
